The 0117 registration supports participants through the training and development of daily living and life skills. Bridging Care Solutions works alongside participants to build the practical skills needed to live as independently as possible at home and in the community, while supporting meaningful participation and engagement in everyday life.
Our supports focus on helping participants learn, improve, or maintain essential daily living and life skills in line with their NDIS goals and individual support needs. Through a strengths-based and capacity-building approach, we empower participants to build confidence, independence, and self-reliance in managing day-to-day activities.
Supports include:
Building personal care and self-management skills (e.g. daily routines, time management, organisation)
Mentoring and life coaching
Developing domestic living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and household management
Improving communication and social interaction skills for everyday life
Support to develop skills in personal hygiene, using public transport, and practical problem-solving
Supporting community participation and confidence in accessing local services and transport
Developing decision-making, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills
These supports are delivered through individualised, capacity-building activities, coaching, and hands-on skill development. The aim is to increase independence, choice, and control, reduce reliance on ongoing supports over time, and support participants to participate more fully in their daily lives and community.
